Insektenhotel
The sun has been shining for a few days now. It's a little cloudy today, but just normal rain clouds, we see no sign of the ash from Eyjafjajajajajajajajajjajajajajjallajokull.
We've been exploring new ways to walk around town on paved roads - the last few days we've been walking past some cool goats - which were all in their little house today, some bee boxes (I'll get some photos of those later dad), and the Insektenhotel. Yes. You translated that correctly an "Insect Hotel"

Someone in town had a gnome on their porch. It's HUGE. Gnomes are very popular here. I have a white one. One day I shall take a photo of him.

Ginger before our walk:

Hey Mom, Wanna rub my belly?

Some of tater from today

Is it Halloween yet?!

lots to share
We've been busy! The sun has been shining (not today!) and we've been taking advantage.
Anna turned 3 months!!! and to celebrate she wouldn't stop looking at her own shirt. It took me a solid 20 minutes to get a photo of her looking at me. What an exciting outfit! Thanks Oma!

We tried out our backpack to see if it would work for summer travels. Not so much just yet. Daddy refuses to use the Bjorn and I KNOW he won't use a moby wrap if he's not gonna use the Bjorn, but he says he's willing to shlep around a stroller. Maybe next summer we'll break out the backpack again.

Playing with toys is hard work

I'll get you wormy!

Yesterday we went to the Nurnberg Volksfest

I GOT A BLOOOOMIN OINION!!! This might be the best 4 euro I've spent in a loooong time.

Anna and I on Easter Sunday at Elena's house

Anna pimped her daddy's shoes for Easter. They're a bit big on her, but they looked adorable and worked just fine.

mmmmmilk.
Great article about breast feeding. I recently found out breast milk digests much faster than formula - in about 90 minutes. So it's not so uncommon for BF babies to eat every 2 hours.

FROHE OSTERN!!
Yesterday we went to celebrate Easter with a our Battalion. Charlie Company had to bring desserts so Anna and I made a bunny cake. I love making bunny cakes they are so fun and the only time you really get to make them is at Easter.
Oma sent us a bunny hat:

Helper:

Cake:

My helper fell asleep on the job again...

Then woke back up to decorate:

Anna took a power nap on the way to the Easter Party

We made an Easter frame:

Saw a HUGE bunny - even for German standards (the rabbits here are insanely huge - way bigger than cats - I wouldn't even call them small dogs, more like medium dogs)
